General:
As a BeterWinkel customer, you have the right to a 30-day cooling-off period for distance purchases, during which you may return the product without giving a reason, starting on the day you receive the product.

The product may only be returned unused and, if technically possible, in its undamaged original packaging.

After canceling your order, you have an additional 14 days, if applicable, to return the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from use that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products and services (e.g., custom-made items, sealed hygiene products after opening, and other legal exceptions).

Return Shipping Costs:
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs when returning an order.

Refunds:
If the item is returned on time and in unused and undamaged condition, we will credit the purchase amount within 14 days of receiving the goods.

You have the right to inspect and evaluate the item before returning it. If we receive the item in a used and/or damaged condition, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount based on the condition of the returned item.

To the extent possible, the merchant will use the same payment method for the refund that the consumer used, unless the consumer agrees to a different method. The refund is free of charge for the consumer.

Return Request:
You may return items without using a specific form. This means you are not required to use a standard return form. You are not required to provide a reason for the return; however, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide one so we can learn and improve. You are required to include the order number and your name.

Return Acceptance:
Returns will only be processed if the order is returned—where reasonably possible—undamaged, in its original packaging, and in a sturdy shipping box. For products that are damaged or show signs of use, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to charge you for the damage.

We therefore recommend that you open the shipping box and original packaging carefully so that you can reuse them if you wish to return the order.
